Over 170 signatures from Taman Putra Prima 8A residents had been collected for the joint petition with other Taman residents to put up a traffic light at the Taman Main Entrance junction between the Lingkaran Putra Prima and Jalan Putra Prima Utama hoping to ease off traffic long queue particularly during morning hour driving to work or school.
Here Comes the official reply from MPSepang
Well, it is too slow for the local council to act on the traffic light installation at the junction of Jalan Putra Prima Utama and Lingkaran Putra Prima. A serious accident occurred around 8.10am today involving a motorbike (heading towards Taman MAS) and a car (exiting Taman Putra Prima). The motorbike rider suffer quite a bit of injuries but manage to sit up.
I think the local council has not been taking seriously the danger of that junction without traffic lights to control the flow of traffic. I understand that, initially, it was agreed to install the traffic light by June of this year but later delayed to November and now is already reaching the end of November. Are the local council waiting for a serious accident involving death before they actually taking it seriously?
No matter who is at fault here, I am sure the accident has caused both parties involved suffering, mentally or bodily, not to mention, financially.
