蒲種人民社警每個星期三都會固定與警方合作展開巡邏，以提升蒲種一帶的治安。

马来西亚人民社警总会长关志庭受访时告诉《大都会》，人民在面对罪案后，往往不知道如何处理，导致警方无从下手。
“很多人面对罪案后，怕事心態是导致他们不去报警的主因之一。为了省却录口供、上庭等麻烦，加上害怕犯人报復，即使遭遇罪案，民眾也不敢向警方报案，导致警方无法获取重要的线索，让犯事者逍遥法外。”
他说，成立社警就是为了改变人们的思维，鼓励人们踊跃与警方合作，达致提昇治安的目的。

抢劫，对你我他而言，已不再是甚么陌生的字眼。罪案已紧紧捆绑著民眾的神经，让人民活在惶惶度日的苦境里。
儘管警方实施眾多的防范和打击罪案措施，人民也纷纷为家居筑起围篱、自聘保安 (最底限度能避免罪案在自已保安社区内发生, 如Putra Prima 8A 围篱计划社区内一向来的良好记录) 但为何拼治安拼了这么久，(围篱外) 水平不升反降，在治安越趋腐败的社会中，人民还可以怎样做呢？
在治安水平严重败坏的现今社会，提高防范意识是保障自身安全的好方法，因此民眾必须停止自怨自艾或朝警方开炮；反之，在活在只能自保的环境下，我们唯有一同培养防范罪案的好习惯。
尤其，在执法单位没有办法保护我们的大环境下，大家只好发挥守望相助的精神，携手缔造一个更安全的社区吧。
全國各區警方全面進行大規模的防範罪案活動，可事先扣留被視為慣犯的犯罪份子。（圖：光明日報）

防範攫奪匪及扒手 ─避免携带太多现款，选择使用信用卡付款。 ─拿手提袋的女性对摩哆车骑士要提高警觉性。 ─男性应把钱財放进有钮扣的袋子。 ─避免把手提袋隨处乱放后离开。 ─在人多的地方，紧紧握住手提袋避免被攫夺。 ─出门避免佩戴太多金饰。 ─避免走在人多拥挤的马路。 ─反方向行走。 ─儘量把手提袋悬掛在胸前。 ─避免把钱包或背包留在菜篮內。 ─当有人无故撞来，应马上检查身上的財物。 ─別让陌生人转移你的注意力。 ─避免在巴士上睡著而忽略了隨身的物件。 ★防范车子遭盗窃 ─將车子停放在光线充足及安全的地方，尤其夜晚，不要停放在偏僻、阴暗僻静或罪犯率高的地方。 ─停车时，確保车轮摆好位置及在停车位內，记得拉起手煞车擎，以免小偷轻易將车子拖走。 ─离开前，確保所有车窗及车门都锁紧。 ─不要將贵重物品放在车內显眼处，应收藏在行李箱、汽车仪器板上放杂物的凹处或用东西掩盖。 ─不要將重要文件，如汽车註册卡、保险单留在车內，以免引起小偷偷车及卖车的邪念。 ─购买及安装良好的防盗系统。 ─即使离开片刻也一定要熄引擎，並確保將车匙拿下车。 ─到可以信任或相识的车厂维修车子，以免车匙被复製。 ─只有在使用商业广场的代客停车服务时，才將车匙交给驾驶员。 ─在车子的任何地方如车窗、车镜或某个角落做特別记號，万一车子被偷，有助警方辨认你的车子。 ★防范破门行窃 ─確定你採用稳固的锁头。 ─养成深锁大门的习惯。 ─让邻近警局知道地址及何时不在家，留下充足资料以便有事时被通知。 ─在大门装设附加保安仪器，例如窥伺孔、门锁及门閂。 ─出门时亮灯。 ─勿留下任何可让窃贼有机可乘的字条。 ─与邻舍保持良好关係有助住家安全。 ─在睡觉或离家前確保大门、窗户及篱笆门锁好。 ─养狗可帮助看门。 ─装设警报系统。 ─若发现可疑者速通报警方。 ─避免把锁匙放在显眼处，如脚垫或花盆下。 |

The routine Resident/ Community Consultative Committee Meeting (Jawatankuasa Perunding Penduduk JPP) for Zone Taman Mas –Taman Putra Prima was held on 13/7/2013 at Pusat Khidmat Ahli Majlis Taman Mas. The meeting was chaired by MPSepang Councillor Mr Pulanthran and attended by the deputy JPP of Taman Mas En Zawawi, Taman Seri Aman –En Nasri and Taman Putra Prima –Gabungan President Mr Kong, En Affandi of MPSepang and a few others.

Many issues were raised including garbage collection, grass cutting, tree trimming, poor road surface drainage to the newly upgraded Jalan Putra Prima Utara, sinkhole problem, proposed community hall to Taman Mas, and Taman Putra Prima. Guard House and related problem.
Councillor Pulanthran would bring our concern to the relevant department of MPSepang and YDP to get the matter resolved ASAP
At the meantime, as on grass cutting and garbage collection issues, he urged the residents to monitor and to follow up with the officer in charge from:

治安日益敗壞，執法人員鞭長莫及，民眾惟有力求自保，這些都是無可否認的事實。花園住宅區居民自動自發組居民協會、花錢聘用保安人員、在住宅區路口設保安亭圍欄杆，防範盜賊上門。更積極的行動，則是組織夜間巡邏隊或志願警衛團，加強巡邏工作，這些協助維護住宅區治安，為警察分擔一部份職責的民眾，乃以華裔佔大多數。維護社會治安，讓人民安居樂業，原本應是軍警人員的職責，人民因為生命財產安全受威脅，不得已想方設法力求自保，這些現象在吉隆坡尤為普遍，凸顯部長的“袖手旁觀”之說，十分荒謬無理。

Pihak polis sudah membuat kenyataan tentang kejadian ini dan saya serah kepada PDRM untuk menjalankan siasatan. Insiden ini adalah peringatan kepada kita semua bahawa jenayah merupakan masalah serius di negara kita. Masalah ini adalah perkara yang nyata, bukan semata-mata persepsi.

The main reason for the long delay of the re-opening of the RM2.6M reinstated sunken road was due to faulty underground sewer line. We are grateful that the rectification work is undergoing now by IWK.

It was lerned that this is one the most advanced technology brought in from Australia to rectify or to repair the faulty sewer line beneath the road by Indah Water Konsortium IWK. Hopefully our newly repaired and resurfaced road will be free from any sinkholes from now onwards.
The PP8A residents indeed very grateful that the road and sewerage problem had attracted the attention of the authority followed by the high level intervention from YDP of MPSepang, Selangor Senior Exco and IWK. Thanks to the persistent hardwork from our dynamic PP8A Resident Association.

This machine works like a robot goes into the sewer pipe and does all the repair works control via distant monitor
The system consists of a single, manageable strip of PVC or HDPE, which is spirally wound into the existing pipeline via a patented winding machine positioned in the base of an existing manhole or access chamber. The edges of the strip interlock as it is spirally wound to form a continuous watertight liner inside the host pipe.
