Terima kasih kepada rakan-rakan yang telah mengirim mesej melalui SMS, FB dan Twitter tentang kejadian rompakan di rumah ibu saya semalam yang juga merupakan kediaman saya. Syukur alhamdulillah tiada siapa yang cedera.
Pihak polis sudah membuat kenyataan tentang kejadian ini dan saya serah kepada PDRM untuk menjalankan siasatan. Insiden ini adalah peringatan kepada kita semua bahawa jenayah merupakan masalah serius di negara kita. Masalah ini adalah perkara yang nyata, bukan semata-mata persepsi.
Semoga mangsa jenayah yang lain juga tabah dan kepada semua: sentiasa jaga keselamatan anda dan keluarga anda.

來自十五碑警區的刑事組警員包括查案官，周日中午12時45分再度重返凱里豪宅著手調查劫案，並向唯一遇劫女傭錄取口供，瞭解情況。
據悉，凱里豪宅旁是一塊空地，警方相信匪徒是從空地圍牆攀爬入庭院，而當時在保安亭的保安員卻豪不知情。
I think majority of Malaysian is aware of the high crime rate in Klang Valley but still being ignorance about the matter. They are more concern with making more money and neglecting their Taman/house safety. As you can see with those who went thru the experience, then they only started to think about setting up the security at their Taman. We have the mentality of thinking the crime will not happen to us.
I have a friend in other Taman in Puchong who pays RM100/month (over 400 houses) just to get 10 guards to ensure the safety of his Taman due to house break-ins happening regularly in the past. Ours is RM50/month (less than 200 houses), still we have some residents refuse/delay the payment. Do we really need to wait for house break-in to happen then only we took this seriously?
Remember, the present committee will also be tired of running the RA if they have to keep on chasing for maintenance fee and being subject to constant abusive words throwing from the residents.
The battle against crime is everyone business, anyone could be the next target at anytime and anywhere, no one is spared including the minister. My wife was a victim of snatch theft happened right before my eye in front of my factory under broad daylight just about a month ago ( please see cctv footage in earlier post).
Lately, many people were talking about removing the fencing between 8A & 8B for the convenience of residents or compliance to authority, but none can assure and elaborate on how to maintain the security integrity or non perforation of 8A. After having gone through relentless effort by all the 197 unit owners with documented petition to the YDP of MPSepang and having spent over 250K in setup and up keeping of the existing security installation including payroll to security guards on 24 hour duty for the last one and a half years, yet to mention tonnes of bureaucracy or encumbrance to get all these permits or approvals in placed. It is not something that can be easily forgotten or to be discarded totally.
The 8A RA willing to share and compromise anything including merger with 8B or any measures to abide fully or in compliance with the authority but certainly not anything could undermine the integrity of our zero-crime-rate Gated &Guarded community scheme.
Hopefully, with the mutually agreed interim measure on controlled gate opening to the playground will pave way to a greater unity, harmony, understanding and better security for both 8A & 8B.
