围篱社区计划在雪隆许多住宅区乃见怪不怪。为了保卫家园，不少居协组织都在住宅区设立围栏並聘请保安驻守。
然而，灵市政厅早前就以违反社区围篱指南为由，大阵仗出动执法人员拆除灵市一些住宅区的围篱。
受影响地区的居协组织与八打灵再也市政厅更因此上演“大斗法”，执法人员在拆除栏杆和移除油桶后，居协就在他们拉队离开的当天，重新装上新的栏杆和新的油桶，犹如在玩“捉迷藏”！
遭灵市政厅拆除围栏的地区包括阿拉白沙罗PJU1A/43路与PJU1A/43E路、万达镇BU6/6与BU7/1路、万达镇BU6/2与BU7/1路及SS22/2路。执法人员拆除不符合指南规定的铁柵和移走油桶等。

The crime rate is so high these days that the residents have to take action to protect the safety of their housing estates. Not that the residents want to go against the local authorities’ instruction but they simply can’t let the crime like break in, snatch theft, kidnapping, etc. to continue to happen in their housing estates.
Then the local council has to follow the guideline / law and take action to tear down the barrier or fencing due to some residents’ complains, usually due to disagreement with the RA over some petty matters. Some time, due to ego & ‘face’ issue, the complainants have lost rational thinking that the RA is actually trying to protect their safety.
此舉卻引起居民的強烈反彈。居民認為，他們並非有意與靈市政廳對抗，反之，市政廳應以居民的安全為首要考量。
They rather risking of boom gate being dismantle than risking their own life and valuable being taken away by robber or thief.
I have noting else to say the bandaraya… but I salute the people who trying very hard to keep protect their homeland. A truly spirit of “never give up”.
